Anxiety, Compulsions and Obsessions

Don’t Panic Revised Edition: Taking Control of Anxiety Attacks by Reid Wilson
This is an excellent book to help people take charge of the anxiety and panic rather than letting the panic and anxiety take charge of them.
Wilson discusses concrete things that people can do to gain control by looking at things like overall health and diet and exercise as well as finding ways to change thinking.

Stop Obsessing!: How to Overcome Your Obsessions and Compulsions (Revised Edition) by Edna B Foa and Reid Wilson
This is another clearly written book full of practical suggestions for people to use who want to free their mind and let go of obsessions and compulsions. One reader called it a great “hard copy” of therapy.

Brain Lock: Free Yourself From Obsessive-Compulsive Behavior by Jeffrey M. Schwartz, Beverly Beyette
In this book, Schwartz and Beyette share a clear step-by-step process to use to let go of anxious thinking or obsessive-compulsive behaviors. While implementing the steps may seem difficult at first, brain scans clearly show a change in brain wave patterns as individuals can become in charge of their own thinking.
